We all use hand sanitizer, right? It's because either we are too lazy to do it the right way with soap and water or just we don't have access to them so we reach out for sanitizer. Somehow it is always right there! But using alcohol based hand sanitizers combined with other non-organic ingredients (like triclosan which can be found in hand sanitizers and antibacterial soaps and is toxic!) can also leave your hands dry and your skin exposed to unwanted chemicals.
Here we have one recipe of all natural hand sanitizer, a mix of easy to find eco ingredients:
- 1/4 cup natural aloe vera gel;
- 1/4 cup witch hazel;
- 1 tbs. organic glycerin;
- 1 tbs. apple cider vinegar
- 15 drops tea tree oil
